Best way to downgrade from 1.6.2.13? 8 Months, 4 Weeks ago

Hello,
I've got a Elastix server running at a customer of mine which stops working once in the 2..3 weeks, i can't find out why. A restart of Asterisk is enough to pull the thing back online.
Somewhere else on this forum someone mentioned he has the same problem, and i got the advice to downgrade from Asterisk 1.6.2.13 to 1.6.2.10 to solve the problem of the freezes. Does this sound familiar to anyone?
What is the best way to downgrade? Is there some sort of way to switch back and forward versions?
Greetings,
Kees

Hello Chris,
I din't downgrade because it the freezes didn't happen again. Also i waited for the update of Elastix with the newer Asterisk 1.6.2.20. I had other strange problems, and this weekend i had to restart Asterisk again. The last restart was about 10 weeks ago.
The last restart was NOT because of a freeze, but to many diaglogs on our Opensips server where the SIP-trunk is coming from.
There is a lot of work done on the SIP-module between the versions 1.6.2.13 and 1.6.2.20, a least thats what the changelog is telling me, so i'm going to upgrade to the newer version.
Greetings,
Kees
